#vvmslearns

So I started on a personal professional development journey last spring when I began learning about twitter.  My 17 year old niece was on twitter a lot and I figured that I should check it out- you know to stay in the loop.  She also got me started on pinterest and instagram which are fun but haven’t provided me with much to further my own learning.  Much to my surprise I found a strong personal learning source on twitter.  I can’t say that I have a twitter network yet but I have learned a LOT following really awesome educators in the last 6 months.

My next step is to create this blog to have a running document of what I am learning and what students are experiencing at Valley View Middle School.  The teachers in my building are AWESOME!  The work that we engage in for our collective professional development is top notch and I wanted to share with the world so I started the hashtag #vvmslearns.  Check it out!
