I learn continuously from Books and the internet.  Both resources are as invaluable to me as the colleagues I have in my personal learning network.

 

Books

In honor of “I Love to Read” month at my middle school, I have added this page to my website.  Our teachers have created a climate and culture of enjoyment of reading at our school that is excellent.  It is common to see our students walking and reading in the hallway because they are so enthralled in their chosen book.  I also want to highlight our Math PLC who I supervised last year.  They engaged in a book study on Carol Dweck’s Mindset.  From this work they created “Mindset mondays” and have intentionally taught our students grit and perseverance.  This is another example of excellent work at VVMS.  I am also on goodreads.com: https://www.goodreads.com/NaidaGN
