#LoveMySchoolDay
I absolutely love the profession of teaching. I love learning. I love working with students and adults who are dedicated to the students they serve. At Valley View Middle School, we have awesome teachers! This quote from Sir Ken Robinson speaks volumes:
What do I love about my school? That it is a safe environment that students and staff enjoy coming to each and everyday. Learning happens here! We care about each other. I am grateful for each student who walks through our door every morning, In my school there is hope and opportunity for each and every student.
I am grateful for each parent who trusts us with their student so that they can thrive and so that our dedicated staff can help their dreams come alive. I participated in a twitter chat about Family Engagement this week in which Todd Whitaker tweeted this simply profound tweet:
So, since today is #lovemyschool day, what do you love about your school? How will you help shed a positive light on the profession of teaching and the students who are learning each and every day?
I came across your blog on twitter today. We are MCA Testing, so I forget during testing time how much I love my school and the kids here. Thanks for the reminder. Today. I love the individuality that each kid brings to my class. They all see life through a different lens and I appreciate that about them.
